Air Jordan 2 "Decon" Mineral Gold

The AJ2 is one of my least favorite silhouettes and this new "Decon" iteration is evoking the weirdest love/hate reaction of all time.  The Air Jordan 2 "Decon" is seen above in Mineral Gold, coming soon to select accounts (like Feature) for $160.

This special edition of the iconic Air Jordan 2 is part of a 3-sneaker pack, which features the luxury-inspired model redone with a stripped down look.

What I love about this shoe is the creativity factor; that whole, 'do something different' thing. Unfortunately they chose to do something different on yet ANOTHER retro and I'm not sure the design is translating well.  I have to admit, the embossed wing logo on the tongue is a fire-ass touch and they might not look so bad on small feet.
