Last night I had the pleasure of attending a beautiful dinner hosted by First Republic and Hennessy, in honor of Ms. Karen Civil receiving a Key to the City of Elizabeth, New Jersey.

we all got our own keys too!

Now, I dunno how much you have to do for your hometown to be considered a recipient, but I can guarantee you - it wasn't easy, and it wasn't overnight.  It's not every day that you witness a young woman of color be given a key to her city; cheers Queen.
